What is the Talent Referral Program?

Friends of Viva is a referral initiative for non-Viva-team where they benefit from incentives for helping us hire. You can support our vision to create over 1,000 new remote job opportunities in Latin America. We are welcoming new team members every day and we want you to be a part of this growing community!

Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Referred candidates should possess the qualifications and experience specified in the job description.
  • Candidates must meet Viva’s hiring standards and cultural fit.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Excellent English (C1 proficiency) and strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Completed university degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Strong proficiency with Google Workspace and ability to learn new tools (Slack, Notion, etc.)
  • Experience in customer or client service is a plus
  • Experience working with North American professionals is a plus

  • Candidates should align with Viva's values, mission, and work culture. They should also demonstrate adaptability, collaboration, and a willingness to contribute positively to the team.

Referral Process:

  1. Friends of Viva must submit the referral through our form
  2. Referrals must be submitted only for open positions listed on our LinkedIn Careers page
  3. Friends of Viva should provide accurate and complete information about both themselves and the referred candidate through the form provided

Rules and Expectations

Communication:

  • Viva will keep Friends of Viva informed about the progress of the referral throughout the hiring process.
  • In case of any changes to the referral program or eligibility criteria, Viva will communicate these changes to Friends of Viva in a timely manner.

Multiple Referrals:

  • Friends of Viva can submit multiple referrals, but they should ensure the referred candidates meet Viva's criteria.
  • Viva may limit the number of referrals a single Friend of Viva can submit within a certain time frame.

Confidentiality and Privacy:

  • Friends of Viva should respect the privacy and consent of the referred candidates before submitting their information.
  • Viva will handle all referred candidate information confidentially and in compliance with data protection laws.

Discretion of Viva:

  • Viva reserves the right to determine the final hiring decision and whether the referred candidate meets the necessary criteria.
  • Viva may modify or terminate the referral program at any time without prior notice.
  • Referrals can only be submitted for open positions listed on our LinkedIn Careers page.
  • Friends of Viva should provide accurate and complete information about both themselves and the referred candidate through the form provided.
