We are excited to share the latest updates on how we are supercharging your Viva EA through training, recognition, and perks. Here’s a glimpse into our recent activities:

Training

L&G Session Led by Cara Silverman

Our EAs recently attended a workshop led by Cara Silverman on mastering effective 1:1s with executives and honing active listening techniques. Cara has 15+ years of experience supporting C-suites at well-known tech companies and is currently a Manager of Executive Support at Duolingo.

Women in Leadership Session with Carolyn Satenberg-Stewart

Every month, we invite a guest speaker to share learnings and advice on professional development with our team. During this month's session, Carolyn Satenberg-Stewart shared stories and answered questions about her path to becoming the Chief People Officer at AKASA.

One of our Viva Values is #useyourvoice. We encourage all staff to participate in team surveys and provide suggestions on new perks they’d like to receive. Here are our latest additions:

  1. 💻 New laptops shipped out and 24/7 global support
  2. 🥘 In person meet-up subsidy for staff to co-work and share a meal with colleagues in their local city every quarter
  3. 👶 Return-to-work subsidy to help staff returning from Parental Leave hire household support for 1 month after returning from their leave. As a reminder, all staff are eligible for a 3-6 month paid Parental Leave, during which we will onboard a backfill EA to cover for them.
